Burke is a reporter, NBA analyst, and one of ESPN’s top national NBA pundits at the moment. Burke played point guard for the basketball team at Providence College for four years while she was a student there in Rhode Island.

Burke obtained a degree in health service administration/social work and a master’s in education after finishing her basketball career. In 1990, she started her career working as a women’s basketball game analyst for the collegiate radio station at her alma institution.

She later received an honorary degree in 2005 and was inducted into the Providence College Hall of Fame in 2000. Burke held the title of NBA game analyst before any other woman.

The fourth and final game of the 2023 NBA Finals series will be played on Monday, April 24, and Burke will continue to follow the series.
