Is Tom Brady injured? QB benched vs Atlanta Falcons, Blaine Gabbert takes over for Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady, NFL GOAT, was benched against the Atlanta Falcons at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday. Blaine Gabbert took over for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

Although Brady was not injured, he was replaced in order to avoid injury. The Bucs have already won the NFC South division, and are thus preserving the GOAT of the game for the latter and more important stages of the tournament.

Fans have showed their love for the 45-year-old on Twitter.

One user said, “Tom Brady producing (2) 1,000 yard receivers and throwing for over 4,700 yards in year 23 of his NFL career at the age of 45 is an accomplishment I don’t think we will ever see again.”

Journalist Dov Kleiman said, “@TomBrady is the first player in NFL history with 5 straight games of 30+ completions. He also has 10 different 30+ completion games this season, also the most all-time. He is 45-years old, still doing things no one has ever done before.

Brady completed 485 passes in the first season of the 17-game regular season, and at 45 years old, he has already surpassed himself. The seven-time Super Bowl champion needed nine more completions to break the record before Sunday’s game against the Falcons, but he did so early in the second quarter.
