In the past years we have seen the love and hate relationship between Los Angeles Lakers player Lebron James and Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry. The complicated rivalry was seen once again in the NBA’s Play-In Tournament on Wednesday night.
Both the players gained stardom in the world of basketball in their own way. Curry brought in basketball the three point revolution, while James made history and went to eight straight finals. In the past years, four of the final NBA matches feature both Lebron James and Stephen Curry facing each other.

For the first time in the League, both Lebron and Curry have been seen admiring each other. Lebron on Sunday night after the Lakers match said, “For our paths to continue to cross in our careers is pretty unique and pretty cool.”
He added that, “Curry should be the League’s MVP and Step has had, in my opinion one of the best seasons all year.”
The tension between James and Curry started boiling from 2015 to 2018 and finally was seen on the basketball court.
As soon as Curry won his first MVP award in 2015, LeBron James spoke about him to Sports Illustrated without naming him. He said, “ I hear the chatter about who is the best player in the league,” James said, ‘i am the best player in the world.”

The first match between Curry and James took place in 2015 and the tension was seen on the ground when both the players were onto each other and the referee had to come to settle things.
Since then their relationship status between the two has been complicated. The 2021 NBA All Star Games was won by LeBron’s team Lakers.
