Los Angeles Rams, having lost 10 of their first 14 games, are already out of the playoff picture. The defending Super Bowl champions lost 24-12 to the Green Bay Packers in their previous game.
Denver Broncos has also had a disappointing season and will also miss the playoffs. The team defeated the Arizona Cardinals 24-15 last Sunday.
Meanwhile, Rams’ quarterback Matthew Stafford will not be playing against the Denver Broncos because of his health. The 34-year-old is battling a neck injury and spinal cord contusion.
Denver Broncos QB Russell Wilson, on the other hand, has passed the concussion protocol and will start against Rams.
“Russ is going to play next week, but I think Brett Rypien did a pretty excellent job in his absence,” Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said ahead of the game.
Wilson sustained an injury in Week 14’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs when he had three touchdowns, an interception, and 247 passing yards.
