Netflix releases ‘Enola Holmes’ movie trailer

Netflix has released trailer for the upcoming action comedy movie ‘Enola Holmes’.

Millie Bobby Brown, of ‘Stranger Things’, is playing the lead role as the younger sister of super sleuth Sherlock Holmes in the movie. The movie will release on September 23.

Actor Henry Cavill plays Sherlock in this Netflix action comedy.

The trailer was released on Tuesday and it features Enola speaking into the camera about the disappearance of her mother and her search to find her while running away from her brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft.

The official Twitter account for Netflix UK and Ireland posted the trailer along with the caption: “The trailer is afoot! Enola Holmes arrives 23 September”.

“While searching for her missing mother, intrepid teen Enola Holmes uses her sleuthing skills to outsmart big brother Sherlock and help a runaway lord,” reads the Netflix summary of the movie.

The movie also stars Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes and Sam Claflin as Mycroft Holmes.

The film is based on a series of novels by Nancy Springer, who created the character of Enola.

The ‘Stranger Thing’ actress will be next seen in a scifi action movie Godzilla vs. Kong, slated to release next year.
