Having played three games, Wilson has thrown two touchdowns but also suffered four interceptions, contributing to the Jets’ offensive struggles. In the recent game against the New England Patriots, he completed 18 of 36 passes for 157 yards, without a touchdown.

Saleh emphasized the importance of maintaining self-belief and the consistent pursuit of excellence in practice. He underlined that despite acknowledging areas for growth, Wilson must retain confidence in his abilities.

To bolster their quarterback roster, the Jets signed Trevor Siemian, a seasoned player with 30 career starts. However, Siemian will be inactive for Week 4 as the Jets face the Kansas City Chiefs.
