Watch: DeAndre Swift runs 50 yards, guides Jamaal Williams TD vs Eagles

DeAndre Swift on Sunday Night rushed for 50 yards and led a Jamaal Williams touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles. Detroit Lions led 7-0 in the first quarter at Ford Field. 

Swift rushed for 50 yards before he was taken down by CB Darius Slay at the Lions’ 24. RB Jamaal Williams ran for a 1-yard touchdown.

Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback Jalen Hurts hit back at the Lions by rushing for a TD. He completed 6/7 throws for 77 yards on that TD drive and had eight rushes for 52 yards in the second quarter. 

Hurts, however, did not start on a high note. He ran for 35 yards in the team’s first offensive possession of the game. He was 0-5 in the incompletions.

With 5:51 remaining in the first quarter, Hurts connected with Brown for 10 yards to the Philadelphia 23-yard line. He finished the first quarter with 6 carries for total yards; 5-10 passing for another 61 yards.
