LiAngelo Ball, who is a member of the Charlotte Hornets, gave a shining performance on Thursday and attracted a roaring reaction from the audience after scoring a buzzer-beater at halftime. 

The performance at the Las Vegas Summer League of NBA against San Antonio Spurs pushed LiAngelo Ball’s case to make his place into the team’s roster. LaVar Ball and LaMelo Ball, brothers of the Charlotte Hornets player, were seen cheering from the sidelines of the court.

The Charlotte Hornets, which have been undefeated in the ongoing NBA league, were served with two consecutive double digit performances by LiAngelo Ball in the first two matches. However, media reports suggest that his performance was not highlighted in its full potential in the second game.

Even though LiAngelo Ball, who is 22 years old, showed signs of being in a minor slump, he did not fail to provide one of the star moments of the game. The buzzer-beater, which was made from a distance of 38 feet from an inbound pass, was scored just 0.6 seconds before the halftime.

Hornets rookie James Bouknight had a fantastic bounce-back performance after being held in check by Davion Mitchell on Monday.
