Novak Djokovic scripted history once again as he emerged victorious in the Wimbledon final on Sunday by beating Australian Nick Kyrgios 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6.
The world no. 3 looked visibly pleased as it was his seventh title win at the All England Club. The victory also helped him leapfrog Roger Federer (20) in total Grand Slams won to the second place. The Serbian is currently one Grand Slam win off from matching the record of Rafael Nadal (22) at the top spot.

The win also marked his fourth straight Wimbledon title victory.

The seven-time Wimbledon winner went on to say some kind words for his opponent, Nick Kyrgios, after the game.
“Nick, you’ll be back. Not just in Wimbledon but in many finals. You showed why you are one of the best players in the world. Congrats to you and your team,” he said.
“I wish you all the best, man. I really think you are an amazing talent. I never thought I’m going to say so many nice things about you, considering the relationship! OK, it’s officially a bromance! Hopefully this is the start of a wonderful friendship. Let’s start with dinner and drinks and we will see,” he added.
“I lost words for what this trophy means. It has always been and always will be the most special tournament. Realising a childhood dream in winning this trophy. Every year it gets more meaningful, I am really blessed. The most special court in the world. I am extremely happy and grateful to be here,” the 35-year-old continued.
The world no. 3 dropped only the opening set to Kyrgios in the final and scripted an amazing comeback to win the third set.
The 35-year-old had an impressive campaign at the All England Club in the 2022 edition and made it even more memorable by winning the men’s single category on Sunday, July 10.
