Jack Draper is an English tennis player and world number 250 in the singles rankings. He is a left-handed player with a double-handed backhand. He made his maiden Grand Slam appearance in the 2021 Wimbledon Championships as a wildcard, where he faced Novak Djokovic in the first round. He began his senior career in 2018.
Draper was born on December 22, 2001, at Sutton in London. He made his ATP Tour debut in the singles circuit at the Miami Open in 2021. He retired in his debut after he collapsed on the court. At the Queen’s Club Championships in 2021, he clinched his biggest win after he defeated world number 23 Jannik Sinner.

Draper won against Kazakhstan’s world number 39, Alexander Bublik, in the round of 16 to reach his maiden quarterfinals in an ATP tournament in June 2021. Draper is the youngest ATP quarterfinalist from the United Kingdom since former world number one Andy Murray in 2006.
According to the ATP Tour website, Draper began playing tennis at the age of three, coached by his mother. His favourite surface to play tennis is hard court, and his favourite tournament is the Wimbledon Championship. His tennis idol growing up was Andy Murray.

Draper is a supporter of the football club Manchester United. Apart from playing tennis, he also models. In 2019, Draper said, “I’m very fortunate in my life that I’m able to do what I want to do”. His favourite musicians are Post Malone, Liam Gallagher and Drake, the ATP Tour wrote on its website.
