Elon Musk has officially bought Twitter and with it, has brought a host of changes along with him to the social media platform.

Shortly after assuming control of the company, Musk fired a bunch of high profile executives, including Chief Executive Officer, Parag Agarwal; Chief Financial Officer, Ned Segal; General Counsel, Sean Edgett; including the Head of legal, policy and trust Vijaya Gadde.

Importantly, Gadde was one of the key decision makers who gave the go ahead to suspend the Twitter account of former US President Donald Trump in the aftermath of the January 6 attack on Capitol Hill. At the time, Musk was critical of the decision. Following the completion of the deal, both Agarwal and Gadde were escorted out of the Twitter office by security.

In addition, he has said that he wants to make the algorithms that determine how content is shown to people public as well as prevent the platform from becoming an echo chamber of hate and division.
