Is Twitter down? Users across the world claim facing problems accessing the site

People on the internet complained after facing problems using the social media platform Twitter on Sunday. Thousands of users claimed that they faced problems logging into their accounts and accessing the platform. According to the site Downdetector, the reports of Twitter suffering an outage began at about 7 am PT (10 am ET).

Twitter app users on Android and iOS devices received errors that stopped them from accessing the Twitter timeline. The error read “Cannot retrieve Tweets at this time. Please try again later.” This is the second time this month, the microblogging platform has suffered an outage. The app also underwent service disruption on July 1 when users reported about ‘Rate Limit Exceeded’ prompt on the app.
