Alien invasion theories have taken over Twitter after two unidentified flying objects were shot down in the U.S. and Canada within a span of 48 hours.
The Pentagon shot down a high-altitude airborne object in Alaska airspace on Friday, February 10, at President Joe Biden’s orders. NORAD performed another shootdown of a similar object that was located over Canadian airspace on Saturday. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, revealed that “an unidentified object” that violated Canadian airspace had been shot down by U.S. F-22s in Yukon by US and Canadian forces. It was a joint order given by Trudeau and POTUS, the White House revealed later.

Hours later on Saturday, US and Canadian aircraft were quickly scrambled to Havre, a township in Montana. Havre airspace was shut down for nearly an hour after a mystery object was seen flying in the skies above the area 30 miles south of the Canadian border. According to The North American Aerospace Defense Command, fighter jets were unable to find the mystery object. The Command Center also reported that they “did not identify any object to correlate to the radar hits.” They said they will continue to monitor the situation following three incidents that already occurred in the past week.
Soon after the two confirmed shootdowns of UFOs over the U.S. and Canadian airspace, alien invasion conspiracy theories started to flood social media. Here are some of the reactions on Twitter:

Two Chinese spy balloons have been shot down over the US in the past week. Greg Gianforte, the governor of Montana tweeted: “I received a briefing tonight at the White House about an object in Montana airspace. I will continue to receive regular updates. With questions about the Chinese spy balloon still unanswered, the Biden administration must be fully forthcoming with Montanans and all Americans.”
