Bay Area music legends ‘Metallica’ will be headlining the 2022 BottleRock Napa Valley, organizers announced today.
‘Metallica’s is the highest-selling Bay Area band of all time. Making the announcement, Dave Graham of Bott, spoke on behalf of the music festival, “We’re happy to be bringing the first taste of summer back to music fans here in the Napa Valley. As fans have come to expect, our 2022 lineup has something for everyone, featuring a wide variety of genres that offer legendary performers with some of the most exciting new and emerging artists in the world,” The Mercury News reported.
The band also shared the news on its social media handles writing, “We’re headlining one night of @bottlerocknapa happening May 27-29 and a Fifth Member Presale for 3-day passes starts in 2 hours!”
The lineup includes some of the biggest names from the industry, including multiplatinum pop star Pink, Grammy-winning alt-rock act Twenty One Pilots and red hot country artist Luke Combs, according to The Mercury News.

The annual music festival is organised over three days from May 27-29 in Napa, California. The initial BottleRock was a five-day event that took place May 8–12, 2013.
The band Metallica has, in its 40-year-long career, earned the title of one of the greatest rock acts the world has ever seen. It includes vocalist-guitarist James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich, guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo.
