Brooklyn Shooting: Two people shot and taken to hospital in Bay Ridge

A double shooting took place in Brooklyn on Friday, and two persons were taken to the hospital, according to authorities.

According to the FDNY, they received a complaint regarding two people being shot at 9413 5th Ave in Bay Ridge at around 4:15 p.m.

The two victims were brought to Brooklyn’s NYU Lutheran Hospital.

The shooting of 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman was confirmed by the police. According to the police, the guy and woman both had arm and leg injuries. According to them, their wounds don’t seem to be life-threatening.

According to a police update, authorities are looking for three individuals who were last seen driving a silver sedan west on 95th Street towards Fort Hamilton Parkway. According to police, the suspect escaped on foot. There is no convincing indication of the involvement of three individuals in a silver vehicle.

So far, no arrests have been made, and the shooting is under investigation.
