Donald Trump launches official website to connect with supporters
- Trump was banned from most of the major social platforms after the Capitol attack
- Users of Trump's website will have the provision of requesting a personalized greeting
- Trump's bio on the website has no mention about him being impeached twice
Following the 45th President of the United States’ ban from a majority of social media platforms after accusations of inciting violence on the day of the Capitol attack, Donald Trump has unveiled his own website to keep in touch with his supporters.
Users of former president Trump’s website 45office.com will have the provision of requesting a personalized greeting or a visit from Trump and first lady Melania at an event.
Designed to serve their personal offices, visitors asking for an appearance or greeting may have to wait for over six weeks for their request to be processed “due to the volume of requests President and Mrs Trump receive,” as stated on the site, reported CNN.

It further says, “Requests must note if media will be present and if there will be any notable attendees.”
Trump was banned from most of the major social platforms including Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat and Facebook on grounds of the presidential election “being stolen” from him and instigating his followers to take action against this. Rioters attacked the Capitol on January 6 to stop President Biden’s confirmation.
Already 150 people have been charged by the US Justice Department with the possibility of the number going up to 400, reported CNN.

With no mention about him being impeached twice, Trump’s bio on the website reads, “Donald J. Trump launched the most extraordinary political movement in history, dethroning political dynasties, defeating the Washington Establishment, and becoming the first true outsider elected as President of the United States.”
With reference to COVID-19, the site says “the coronavirus plague arrived from China,” and that Trump “acted early and decisively to ban travel from China and Europe, which saved countless lives.”
Trump has been accused of giving rise to anti-Asian sentiments in the US for calling the coronavirus the “Chinese Virus”.
Recently, Trump’s spokesperson for the 2020 presidential campaign and former advisor Jason Miller said that the former president is planning a new social media platform and it will attract “tens of millions” of new users and “completely redefine the game.”
