Is Julia Waldelt being used by Fia Johansson? Woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann isolated from family
- Julia Wandelt has not reportedly spoken to her mother
- Fia Johansson is currently devoted to the defence of Julia Faustyna
- Johansson is a self-described psychic medium and private detective
There are increasing worries that Julia Wandelt, the Polish woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann, is being isolated from her family and using her celebrity status on social media to gain attention. Her mother has not interacted with her in the past two days because she is reportedly concerned for her safety.
Julia, also known as Julia Wendell and Julia Faustyna, gained notoriety in late February after she made public her assertion that she was the kidnapped British girl who vanished in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in 2007 at the age of three.

Although the authorities don’t seem to be persuaded, Dr. Fia Johansson, a self-described psychic medium and private detective, who she spoke with live on Instagram on Friday, March 3, backed up her claims.
Johansson stated during the 24-minute Instagram live that Julia’s Instagram account had been suspended and that there was no active police investigation into her allegations. Some are now, however, speculating as to whether Johansson is merely utilizing Julia for social media momentum.
On Sunday, March 5, several online users voiced concern for Julia’s safety, claiming that she hadn’t “been seen or spoken to” in the previous 48 hours following Johansson’s claim that she was “in danger.” Others asserted that Julia’s mother was frantically attempting to contact Julia.

There was some relief, though, when Johansson shared a video update on Instagram showing Julia teasing a “big” update while reportedly buying at an airport. The two looked to be leaving Poland, though it was unknown where they were going as of the time of publication.
The teaser only raised a slew of additional concerns as many people speculated about what the significant update might be. Some questioned Julia’s claim that she lacks a birth certificate and passport, without which she would be unable to board a plane and leave the nation.
“Julia Faustina, the girl claiming to be Madeline Madeleine McCann, left Poland this morning; it is unknown where she is going,” one person tweeted. “I assumed she lacked a birth certificate and a passport. Dr Fia Johansson said her birth certificate could be faked so isn’t it illegal for her to fly? This story has taken yet another strange turn!”
It’s important to note that Bekah, the proprietor of the Exposing and Debunking page, has accused Fia of being a fake on her website and has made a number of other accusations against her. Bekah says, “Fia claims to be a Dr of psychology. She is not. “Fia does not possess a degree or a Ph.D. She claims to have a bachelor’s degree in engineering on her web resume. Other places, however, claim that it is operating. Whatever works for her business plan, I suppose.” Impersonating a doctor is a severe crime, according to the internet sleuth, “especially so so advertising your services as a dr of psychology online.”

Bekah also asserted that Johansson lacks a private investigator certificate. “She displayed an emblem bearing a legitimate pi number. The badge was purchased from Etsy, and the registered phone number is that of another company owner unaffiliated with Fia. In the state of California, where Fia lives, this is once more a crime,” Bekah stated.
The investigator further charged the self-described psychic with “parading Julia on her story like a circus animal” and “isolating Julia from the outside world, namely her birth mother.” She described the latter as an “innocent woman who has had her world ripped apart and has done nothing but try to support her daughter before paying her psychiatric fees.”
