President Joe Biden appeared to stumble and fall on Wednesday, while he was going up the steps to board Air Force One in Warsaw, Poland. The incident was caught on camera by one of the press pool reporters.

The video, although grainy and zoomed in, showed the POTUS stumbling at the top of the staircase on the Air force which was parked on the airport tarmac before catching himself, turning to wave, and entering the aircraft. The cause of Biden’s stumble was not exactly clear. Biden was wrapping up his trip to Eastern Europe which included Ukraine and Poland and is slated to return to Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

The White House has not put out any statement regarding Biden’s stumble. This was not the first time that Biden stumbled on his way to Air Force One. Two years ago, he similarly almost fell down on the same steps at Joint Base Andrews. At the time, the White House said he was “doing 100% fine.” Instead, the blame was put on the gusty conditions.

“It’s pretty windy outside, it’s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself. He is doing 100% fine,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters at the time. White House communications director Kate Bedingfield said: “Nothing more than a misstep on the stairs,”

After visiting Kyiv, Ukraine, on Monday and meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president went on to visit Poland, where he met with Polish President Andrzej Duda. During both visits, Biden expressed support for the regions.

“One year ago, the world was bracing for the fall of Kyiv,” Biden remarked during a speech in Warsaw. “Well, I have just come from a visit to Kyiv, and I can report: Kyiv stands strong! Kyiv stands proud. It stands tall. And most important, it stands free.”
