President-elect Joe Biden will not discuss the investigation
into his son’s alleged tax fraud with his yet-to-be appointed Attorney General,
Biden’s pick for White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told Fox News on Sunday.

Psaki said Biden will leave it up to the future US Attorney
General to handle the investigation into the matter as per the merit of the
case.

Delaware US Attorney’s office is investigating into
allegation of tax frauds committed by Biden’s younger son, Hunter Biden. Outgoing
President Donald Trump has also said in past that he will appoint a special
counsel to look into the tax affair matter of Biden’s son.

“He will not be discussing an investigation of his son
with any attorney general candidates,” Psaki said, as quoted by Fox News.

“He will not be discussing it with anyone he is
considering for the role and he will not be discussing it with a future
attorney general. It will be up to the purview of a future attorney general in
his administration to determine how to handle any investigation.”
