In a startling incident in Inwood, Manhattan, a crane collapse has resulted in multiple injuries. Emergency personnel, including New York EMS units, are currently at the scene managing the crisis. Early reports indicate that five people have been injured, with three sustaining serious injuries and two others suffering minor ones.
The NYPD has confirmed that the boom of the crane broke off and fell onto a nearby construction site. Fortunately, all construction workers at the site have been accounted for by the first responders.
