Margot Robbie’s floral dress and bangs make a splash at Oscars 2021

Margot Robbie, although not herself being directly nominated
for any film in Oscars 2021, on Sunday showed up in the Los Angeles venue. Robbie,
who wore a floral Chanel dress with silver prints, was seen tying up her hair
in a ponytail and sported bangs.

Despite not having performed in it, the actor produced ‘Promising
Young Woman’, which won the Oscar under the Original Screenplay category.

LuckyChap Entertainment, Robbie’s company, produced the film.

“We never started a company to be a starring vehicle for me
or to be a platform for me to chase my dreams.  

It was really that we wanted to expand what
female stories and female storytellers could do in this industry, and I don’t
need to be onscreen for that to happen”, Robbie was quoted as saying by
Hollywood Reporter about her venture.

The actor is yet to win an Oscar, although nominated for her
roles in I, Tonya (2018) and Bombshell (2020).

Reportedly, media coverage to Oscar 2021 is largely
restricted, with the COVID-19 situation resulting in for only a handful of
outlets being allowed at the site.
