Georgia’s 14th congressional district Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has been locked out of her Twitter account after she posted a video of herself with music by hip-hop legend Dr. Dre playing in the background, the politician has told TMZ.

In her statement, Taylor Greene took a dig at Dre, saying, “While I appreciate the creative chord progression, I would never play your words of violence against women and police officers, and your glorification of the thug life and drugs.”

The song that had been used in the video is the song Still D.R.E. from the album 2001. The music video features both Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, and was written by Jay-Z.

In the video Taylor Greene posted, she can be seen walking through the corridors of the US Congress in a red coat, which is followed by clips from the moment Kevin McCarthy was finally able to win the post of House Speaker, and a selfie she had clicked with the latter on the announcement of the news.

In one of the clips, she can also be seen on the phone with someone called “DT”, which happens to be the initials of former US President Donald Trump.

Dr. Dre has himself told TMZ that he did not give his permission to the 48-year-old to use his music in her clip. His exact comments were, “I don’t license my music to politicians, especially someone as divisive and hateful as this one.”
