Megyn Kelly, American conservative journalist, was trolled on social media for hosting Tara Reade on her podcast The Megyn Kelly Show. The former Joe Biden aide had accused the President of sexually assaulting her in 1993.
“Megyn Kelly should be ashamed for allowing American Defector and Putin-obsessed Tara Reade to come onto her podcast, tell lies and call Ukrainians Nazis,” a Twitter user wrote.
“After her recent defection to Russia, Tara Reade goes on Megyn Kelly’s show to praise Vladimir Putin for liberating the Ukrainian people from Nazis, and says the people in Ukraine are happy Russia invaded them,” another one added.

“Tara Reade is a liar. She has changed her story and has gone from hating Putin to loving Putin, to claiming she doesn’t love him anymore, to claiming she loves him again,” a third one tweeted.
Reade had announced on Wednesday, during a Russian press conference, that she decided to move to Russia and seek citizenship. She added that she did not feel safe in the United States. Mediaite reported that Reade used the platform to apologize to Russia for America’s support of Ukraine in the war.
“Why seek citizenship? — I mean, this is sort of how a lot of people over here have reacted. Like why is she seeking Russian citizenship and why is she bashing the United States on a Russian stage?” Kelly asked. “…I’m not bashing the United States. I love my country. I don’t like the elites and the corruption that’s running it…” Reade replied.
Kelly then countered, saying: “But you know there’s a difference, Tara, between saying that from California or Seattle, and saying that from Moscow — it has a different feeling.”
The White House responded to Reade wanting Russian citizenship.
“I won’t attempt to speak for an aspiring Russian citizen, the convicted Russian spy who’s sponsoring her, or the foreign government with which she has chosen to align,” White House spokesperson Andrew Bates said in a statement first reported by CNN’s Edward-Isaac Dovere.
