Morgan state university shooting: Baltimore Police respond to active shooter situation

At least four individuals were shot on the campus of Morgan State University on Tuesday night, in what authorities are classifying as an active shooter event.
The incident was reported in the 1700 block of Argonne Drive, an area that includes a student dormitory and is adjacent to the Northeastern District police station.
Baltimore Police spokesman Vernon Davis confirmed that there were four victims, but as of now, their conditions remain unknown.
At 10 p.m., Baltimore Police issued a statement via social media, stating that they were on the scene of an active shooter situation.
“We’re asking everyone to shelter in place and avoid the area,” the post read.
In response to the situation, the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives announced that it would be dispatching special agents to assist the Baltimore Police.
