A shooting at a Mount Vernon Walmart in Skagit County has left three people shot, as per reports. Local cops and fire units are on the scene, but the assailants have reportedly fled.
As per SNBC, one victim has suffered a serious gunshot wound, while another has a gunshot wound in the leg.
Skagit County is in Washington which is an “open carry” state. This means a person can have an unconcealed firearm, as long as they don’t plan on using it for intimidation and it doesn’t cause alarm for the safety of others.
Skagit Breaking, which reports on immediate developments in the area, has just announced multiple gunshots heard in the Laventure area of Mt Vernon. The road is close to the Walmart where the shooting was initially reported, though it remains unknown for now if the two incidents are connected.
