NBA Finals: Suns and Bucks at crucial crossroads on path to the title

Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks stand at crucial crossroads on the path to become the NBA champions this season as the seven-match series stands at a tally of 2-1 in favour of this year’s Western Conference winners, Suns. 

Game four of the NBA finals, which is scheduled for Wednesday, will be just short of a make-or-break situation for both teams and the first side to get four points will be declared as the NBA champions. 

Greek forward Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 41 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to spark the Bucks while the Suns struggled, guard Devin Booker shooting 3-of-14 for 10 points, both playoff lows, according to reports from AFP.

However, Booker said that he is not going let the past impact his future plays and emphasised that he will “move on”.You just have to be better if you want to win the game. It’s good pressure. These are the moments you prepare for and you train so hard for, what we’re in right now, so you have to be excited about it”, reported AFP.

Bucks’ star player Giannis Antetokounmpo will seek to break down the defensive wall that will set up by the Suns in an attempt to secure a 40 point game for himself and keep on the track of being the Most Valued Player, a title that has been claimed by the young player twice before.

Antetokounmpo said in a statement, “Funny there’s a defense out there called the Giannis Wall. It is a compliment that there is got to be three people in front stopping me from getting in the paint. I hate it, though. But at the end of the day, you got to figure out a way to play through it”, according to reports from AFP.

Even though the strategy adopted by both teams remains unclear for the upcoming game, it is certain that Bucks will be playing to end their decades-long title drought while the Suns will seek to open their account of major titles.
