Washington Wizards scored a win against
the Indiana Wizards in their NBA play-in game early on Friday, as Bradley Beal
and Russell Westbrook displayed impressive performances, scooping up 25 and 18
points each, contributing majorly in the Washington D.C side’s victory.

Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal scored 25 points within a span of 28 minutes in the game, scoring
three-pointers as well as passing on to Russell Westbrook, Daniel Gafford and
Rui Hachimura for shots close to the net.

Westbrook, on the other hand, scored 18 points, eight rebounds, and 15
assists during his game time of 33 minutes. The point guard had been chosen to
be the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for May and supposedly was eyeing
a comeback after a 6-of-18 performance against Boston Celtics.

Beal, who had a hamstring problem getting into the match, seemingly redeemed
himself, helping the Wizards in get the major 28-point margin.

The Indiana Pacers, trailing 83-114 at the end of the third quarter,
failed to capitalise on their shooting chances, with Malcom Brogdon and Domantas
Sabonis scoring 24 and 19 points respectively.

Now that the victory has come their way, the Wizards look on to reach
the playoffs for the first time since 2018. The Pacers, on the other hand, who
had not missed a single playoff since 2015, will now look to reorient themselves
back into form.
