Trae Young’s breathtaking performance in the first playoff game of his career led the Atlanta Hawks to score a 105-94 win against the New York Knicks on Friday.
Young scored 21 points and a game-high of 14 assists to lead his side to victory. While, on the other hand, Julius Randle struggled throughout the game ending up with a 14-point loss. Derrick Rose scored the most, 30 points with six rebounds and five assists, but ended up losing the game due to a less impactful team.

While the Knicks defended aggressively against Young, he still managed to score or assist 54 points. The Hawks shot a staggering 59% from the three point line and took command with a 22-5 burst to close out the second quarter.

As the match proceeded to the final quarter, it was too late for the Knicks to take over the Hawks, both the teams will meet again for Game 4 on Sunday at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
