One dead in Louisiana IHOP shooting, two suspects on the run: Reports

A shooting was reported in Louisiana by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s office on Tuesday where at least two people have been hurt. The shooting occurred at an IHOP on Seigen Lane, according to media reports.
Two people, who wielded firearms, fired at two employees outside the restaurant. The shootout resulted in the death of one victim, who was discovered by the paramedics who responded to the incident, reported WBRZ.

The other victim was found near Airline Highway on Seigen Lane, which in close proximity to the restaurant. The victim is expected to survive the shooting.
A vehicle, which was later discovered ablaze on Hidden Ridge lane, was reportedly stolen in Ascension Parish and used in the violent incident, reported WBRZ quoting investigators.

The suspects are still on the run while law enforcement officials are on the lookout.
