According to police officials, a person was shot on Saturday afternoon at the Majestic Beach Towers on Front Beach Road in Panama City Beach.

The Panama City Beach Police were informed about the shooting incident at around 3:20 p.m. Police officers arrived at the scene and found a woman who had a gunshot wound to her leg. She was quickly taken to a nearby hospital by the authorities, and her current health is unknown.

The police have apprehended a suspect described as a black male. They have assured the community that there is now no threat to their safety and have emphasized that they believe this incident to be isolated.

The investigation into the case is still ongoing. The motive behind the shooting has not yet been disclosed.

Meanwhile, another shooting has been reported in Northwest D.C. on early Saturday, as confirmed by Metropolitan Police Department. The incident claimed the life of one person who was shot dead.

Police officers from the 4th District responded to reports of a shooting on 300 Quakenbos Street NW at around 12:05 a.m. They started their inquiry after finding the victim unconscious in the street when they arrived.

The victim, a 27-year-old Northwest resident named Dzhoy Zuckerman, has been identified. According to an update from the police, Zuckerman was found unconscious and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities have not yet provided any information on the potential shooter or shooters who may have been engaged in the incident.

A reward of up to $25,000 has been announced by the Metropolitan Police Department for information that will result in the capture and conviction of the offender or offender(s) in this case.
