Shooting at house party in North Carolina’s Wilmington kills 3; 4 injured
- No one was in police custody and one suspect is believed to have fled the scene

- Police also have not released the names of those who were killed in the gunfight incident
Three people were killed, and four others were injured in a shooting incident at a house party in North Carolina’s Wilmington, a media report says quoting police. According to police, a gunfight broke out at a house in Wilmington near midnight, as the bullet struck seven people.
As of early Saturday (local time), no one was in police custody and one suspect is believed to have fled the scene, a CNN report said, quoting Lt. Irving, a Wilmington police watch commander.

Lt Irving said that police are still trying to find out who opened fire, or how many people fired shots as the information was available immediately.
Police also have not released the names of those who were killed in the gunfight incident as they were still trying to inform the relatives of the deceased on Saturday morning.
In a release, police asked people with any information on the incident to “come forward so that we may find justice.”
