A shooting took place on Sunday morning near 33rd Avenue and Ames Avenue in Omaha, Nebraska. Officials say that at least seven people have been injured in the incident.
According to officials, the shooting happened at around 4:15 am early in the morning. Locals have been asked by the Omaha Police Department to avoid the area.

A spokesperson from Nebraska Medicine told Fox News Digital that the medical center has seven victims admitted with injuries. Local media however say that at least 11 people were injured in the incident. The details of their injuries or their condition were not available.

Authorities have said that one of the victims was rushed to the hospital while first responders performed CPR on the person. Another victim was reportedly taken with serious injuries.
