SkyWest is the
United States’ largest regional airline, handling flights for Alaska
Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, and United.
SkyWest flies to 250
locations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico on a daily basis, with a
vast network of routes primarily designed to connect passengers between smaller
airports and the big hubs of its partner airlines. In 2017, SkyWest transported
35.9 million passengers.

passengers carried on each trip. The other 7% of flights are operated on a
pro-rate basis, with SkyWest bearing all expenses, determining rates, keeping
all income from non-connecting passengers, and dividing connecting passenger
tickets with the partner airline on a pro-rated basis.
