The 63rd Grammy Awards is set to take place on March 14 with all the nominees for the 83 categories already  announced. Artists such as Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Lil Baby, Chris Martin, John Mayer and Post Malone are set to perform during the ceremony.

Over the years, there have been some memorable performances on the Grammy stage. Right from the beginning, Grammys have been a platform for spectacle. With some of the artists ready to rock the stage this year, let’s take a look at the top five Grammy performances of all time:

Michael Jackson (1988)

One of the most memorable performances on stage, Jackson started his medley with the famous ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’. The best moment of the performance comes when a gospel choir backs him up for ‘Man In The Mirror’.

Eminem and Elton John (2001)

Eminem performances are fun and when Elton John joins him, it’s nothing less than a dream come true. In 2001, John joined Eminem for a rendition of the song ‘Stan’ from his album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’.

Prince and Beyonce (2004)

Prince and Beyonce, the names speak for themselves. While Beyonce has given several iconic performances over the years, this was something special. The performance included ‘Purple Rain’ and ‘Crazy in Love’.

Daft Punk, Pharell Williams, Stevie Wonder (2014)

Recently separated French electro-pop duo Daft Punk gave one of the most iconic Grammy performances of all time along with Williams, Wonder and Nile Rodgers, when they performed their summer hit, ‘Get Lucky’.

Kendrick Lamar (2016)

Lamar’s performance of ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’, which won the best rap album that year, remains one of the top Grammy performances of all time.
