Tysons Corner Mall shooting: Police activity in Fashion Blvd, McLean after officer-involved shooting near Bloomingdale’s store

A man was shot and injured in an officer-involved shooting near the Bloomingdale’s store at Tysons Corner Mall on Wednesday night, Fairfax County police tweeted.

“Officers are in the area of Fashion Blvd in McLean for an officer-involved shooting. Preliminarily, one man was shot in the upper body outside the mall & taken to hospital w/injuries considered life-threatening. No officers injured. Avoid the area,” authorities tweeted.
