“A few individuals” in the US suffered low platelet levels and clots after receiving the J&J’s vaccine as per the FDA, reported AFP.
The FDA said, “Both conditions can have many different causes. We will keep the public updated as we learn more.”
A statement released by the EMA said that four cases of rare blood clots have been reported so far. Out of these four, one patient lost their life after getting the J&J vaccine.
