US President Joe Biden stumbled multiple times before falling as he ascended up the stairs to the Air Force One at the Joint Base Andrews in Prince George’s County in Maryland on Friday.

The president gathered himself after tripping himself while climbing up the steps of the presidential carrier before tripping again. He got back up and tripped himself again, this time falling on the stairs before getting up, rubbing his knees and ascending the rest of the way.

From another angle of the footage, the president’s body went completely out of view as he fell after his second stumble, although you can still see his hand on the railing as he gets up.
Air Force One took off shortly afterwards from outside the capital Washington for a flight to Atlanta, where Biden was to meet members of the Asian-American community which has been shocked by a series of shootings in massage parlours, AFP reported.
“He is doing fine. He is doing just great,” deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters about Biden’s stumble.
Biden had fractured his foot while chasing a dog in December last year, according to a report in Fox news.
In other similar incidents, Vice President Mike Pence stumbled while boarding the Air Force 2 last year. Days later, former President Donald Trump nearly fell down a ramp at the West Point Military Academy after addressing a commencement speech for graduates.
Former President and Biden’s former boss Barack Obama once almost fell down the steps of Air Force One in 2015.
