A shooting at Allen Premium Outlets in North Dallas, Texas on Saturday left at least nine dead and injured several others. The suspect is confirmed dead.
Hundreds were evacuated from the mall as the shooting took place in the parking lot. A police officer on an unrelated call killed the gunman. At least seven were being treated at the hospital. Three of them are critical.

The victims are between the age of 5 and 51, according to a hospital spokesperson.
What we know so far:
Video of the suspect shows him wearing combat gear. He was carrying an AR-15-style rifle. The motive for the shooting is not known yet.
As per reports, the shooter arrived at the location in his car. He stopped at H&M, got out and opened fire. There was a ‘pile of bodies, including children’.
Multiple media reports said that the suspected shooter lived with his parents. FBI agents were seen visiting a home in Northeast Dallas where the suspect reportedly lived. Neighbors said he was quiet and always acted unusual. Authorities questioned the family for hours.
Reports also add that the suspect, not identified yet, was born in 1989 and was from Dallas.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said Saturday’s shooting at Allen Premium Outlets was an “unspeakable tragedy.”
“Our hearts are with the people of Allen, Texas,” the Republican governor said in a statement.
Many trolled him for the statement.

“We live 30 minutes from the #AllenPremiumOutlets and shop there every fall for school clothes. We were not anywhere near #AllenTexas last night, but I am in absolute shock. Unfortunately, nothing will change, @GregAbbott_TX sent out the standard “thoughts and prayers” bullshit ->” a Twitter user said.
“Hospitals are reportedly treating victims as young as age 5 from the mass shooting at the Outlet Mall in Allen, Texas. Am I crazy to think that Greg Abbott and Ted Cruz value guns more than the lives of the children killed by guns?” another one added.
