Who is Armoni Henry? Man arrested for shooting Mariano’s employee inside store in Evergreen Park
Authorities have filed charges against a man in relation to a shooting that left a 21-year-old Mariano’s employee dead inside a shop in Evergreen Park. The man has been identified as Armoni Henry.

Law enforcement authorities received an initial report of an active shooter at approximately 9:12 a.m. on Thursday in the 2500 block of West 95th Street. Authorities quickly arrived at the scene in response to this urgent call to address the problem and assure the public’s safety.
Who is Armoni Henry?
Armoni Henry, a 21-year-old Chicago resident, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with this week’s daylight shooting inside the grocery store.
According to Evergreen Park Police Chief Michael D. Saunders, officers promptly responded to the incident at the store and encountered multiple individuals in the parking lot. Upon entering the store, they did not observe any active gunfire taking place.

Officers entered the store and found Jailene Flores, age 21, in the storage area. Tragically, she had been shot numerous times. Despite their best attempts, the emergency personnel declared Flores dead at the site.
Armoni Henry was listed as a “possible suspect” in the investigation after the shooting. Shortly after the incident in a North Side Chicago neighborhood, police arrested him. Authorities found a gun during the arrest.
Police Chief Michael D. Saunders claims that the incident was at first classified as “domestic-related” by the authorities. In a surveillance footage apparently obtained by law authorities, prior to the shooting, Jailene Flores is seen walking away from a man inside the store and toward a rear room.

Authorities learned from reports that Jailene Flores had previously engaged in a domestic conflict while working for Amazon in nearby Oak Lawn. Her partner was named as the suspect in that incident. Using an alert on the car referenced in the report, law enforcement was able to find the culprit.
