Bryan Freedman is the Hollywood celebrity lawyer who is representing Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon after both of them lost their prime-time gigs.

In spite of what people believe, there is a lot in common between former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and former CNN host Don Lemon. For starts, they were both ousted from their respective networks on the same day. The two are also being represented by the same lawyer, when it comes to negotiating their exit deals with their respective networks.

Over the years he has built a reputation as an entertainment litigator. His clients include Vin Diesel, Quentin Tarantino, and Mariah Carey. He was named by the Hollywood Reporter as one of the “most influential entertainment litigators in the country” many years in a row. He has also been featured on the publication’s “Top 100 Power Lawyers.” He was also listed in Variety magazine’s Legal Impact Report, among 22 hand-picked individuals.

Although neither Carlson nor Lemon has announced any plans to sue their respective networks, despite rumors of them not being informed before the shocking ousters, Freedman has a record of helping celebrities secure millions from their old networks.

Megyn Kelly, who secured Freedman’s services while leaving NBC News, secured around $30 million after she parted ways with the network in 2019. Chris Cuomo, who also like Lemon, was fired by CNN in December 2021, was able to negotiate a lucrative deal of $125 million in his ongoing wrongful termination suit against the network, thanks to Freedman.
