Jake Angeli, also known as Qanon Shaman, the Phoenix man who took part in the raid of the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, with a painted face and wearing a fur hat with horns has been moved by federal authorities out of prison and into halfway house. He was moved out of the prison on Tuesday and into community confinement.

The attorney who oversaw his criminal trial, Albert Watkins, said in a press release on Thursday that Angeli was in a halfway house. He also informed that Angeli was at a facility and not confined to his home. He had been held at the federal prison in Safford.
Who is Jake Angeli?
Jake Angeli is an alt-right conspiracy theorist and activist. He participated in the January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol. He was convicted of felony charges of obstructing an official proceeding.

Angeli has been a supporter of former President Donald Trump. He is a believer and a follower of the Qanon conspiracy theory.
He was born in 1988 to Martha Chansley. Angeli studied at Moon Valley High School in Phoenix, Arizona. He also attended Glendale Community College, where he completed a course in psychology, religion, philosophy, and ceramics.
On September 26, 2005, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He was assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk in March 2006 after boot camp and training as a supply clerk.
Angeli has a wide social media following and has participated in rallies supporting QAnon. At several rallies in Arizona, he spoke about Qanon conspiracy theories and carried a sign that read “Q Sent Me!”.

During the January 6, 2021, US Capitol attack, Angeli entered the Senate floor in the Capitol, wearing his shamanic dress. He was carrying a six-foot-high spear with an American flag tied below.
