Andre Montgomery Jr was shot dead in March 2016, per a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Missouri. His uncle James ‘Tim’ Norman, who was a star or the reality series ‘Welcome To Sweetie Pie’s’, was handed a life sentence for the murder-for-hire plot.
Norman was found guilty in September. He was convicted of and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. Prosecutors said that he tried cashing a life insurance policy on Andre worth $450K after working with Terica Ellis to execute the murder. The woman pled guilty and was sentenced on three years in January.
Travell Hill admitted that he shot Montgomery in exchange for $5,000. He was sentenced in October to 32 years in prison.
