Ariana Viera, the current Miss Venezuela died at the age of 26, her mother Vivian Ochoa has confirmed.
Before her untimely death, Viera was set to take part in the 2023 Miss Latin America and 2023 Miss World pageants. However, her life came to an end in a car accident in Orlando, Florida. After the pageants, she was also planning to make her debut in a fashion show in New York.
In the US, Viera and her family ran a business called Full House Cleaning. The service offers house cleaning services.
Cause of death
Although her official cause of the crash hasn’t been reported, Viera’s mother shared that her daughter had been suffering fatigue and fell asleep behind the wheel while driving in Lake Nona, Florida.

Mother Vivian Ochoa
Viera’s mother confirmed that her daughter was tired after a series of work commitments when she was driving her car in Florida and subsequently fell asleep at the wheel. “She fell asleep, she was very tired,” Ochoa told Telemundo. “They revived her and she had a heart attack, but they revived her again. When they were going to take her to intensive care for trauma, she was left there.”
Ochoa mentioned that her daughter was her best friend and regretted that fact that she would no longer be able to talk to her. “Ariana was always my support, my friend,” her mother said.
The grieving mother praised her daughter for her caring attitude and her willingness to help anyone in need. “She helped too many people,” Ochoa explained. “She would stop everything to help you or listen to you. She was always there for her friends, her brothers, her mother.”

Cryptic funeral post
Back in May, Viera posted an cryptic video on Instagram, where she referenced her future funeral. “Recording myself for my future funeral because it’s always me who takes the videos no one takes them of me,” she captioned the video, which in included clips of herself pretending to be caught doing mundane activities. She pretended to wake up, drink water and just hang around the house.
At the time, many people on social media were making montages of pretending someone is sneaking a video of them to poke fun at documentaries.
