Who was Rosalio Gutierrez Jr?

New testimonies in the trial of suspected killer Zachariah Anderson on Wednesday, March 15, shed light on the potential motives behind the 2020 disappearance of Rosalio Gutierrez Jr. 

According to Kenosha News, now 42-year-old Anderson allegedly murdered 40-year-old Gutierrez Jr with blunt force on May 17, 2020. According to investigators, Anderson believed Gutierrez of being involved in a relationship with Sadie Beacham, a woman with which the suspect had children.

On Wednesday, one of Anderson’s minor children testified that he had ordered her to spy on Rosalio Gutierrez Jr. Beacham also claimed that Anderson had been harassing her for a long period after she started her relationship with Gutierrez. 

One of Anderson’s children stated in her testimony that from April 24 to April 25, 2020, the suspect drove to Sadie Beacham’s Germantown residency to spy on her and Gutierrez.

Gutierrez’s body was never recovered. He died due to substantial blood stains discovered in his apartment, according to authorities. 

Currently, the trial of Zachariah Anderson is underway and he denies any involvement in Gutierrez’s disappearance.

Who was Rosalio Gutierrez Jr?

Rosalio Gutierrez Jr was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, WI. He was 40 years old. He was born on April 10, 1980, in Kenosha. His mother’s name is Selia and his father is Eugene Patterson Jr.

Rosalio attended area schools. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He worked for several companies including the State Public Defender, A Plus Quality Construction and Tranquility Property Group. He was a member of Great Lakes Church, Kenosha.

Most recently, Rosalio had co-coached his son’s Little League team. He enjoyed outdoor sports, music, and dancing. He loved the Chicago teams: Cubs, Bears, and Black Hawks.

Rosalio is survived by his mother Selia Patterson Jr; children Julian Gutierrez and Ava Gutierrez; siblings Dakota Ramirez-Patterson, Eugene W. (Nikki) Patterson III, Angel S. (Nathan) Saunders, and Marlon JC Patterson; and uncle Eulalio “Lalo” Garza.
