According to reports from TMZ, Teresa, who gained popularity for her soulful covers on the social media platform, succumbed to ovarian cancer at her home in Stockton, CA, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Teresa’s daughter, Yolundria Rooks, revealed that her mother had been battling ovarian cancer, which had recently spread to her lungs. Yolundria shared that the coroner retrieved Teresa’s body from their home, and the family is now seeking to have her remains transported to Macon, GA, to be laid to rest beside her son, Josiah. To cover the funeral expenses, Yolundria has launched a GoFundMe campaign.
