Early on a Saturday, authorities initiated a traffic stop in the area of Washington Street and Calle Tampico after suspecting Bryan’s vehicle of involvement in a recent traffic collision. Sergeant Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez of the La Quinta Sheriff’s Station reported to Fox News Digital that the deputies observed signs of impairment in Bryan’s demeanor, which led to his arrest on charges of driving under the influence with priors.

Notably, Bryan faced legal action in 2020 following a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, at their Eugene, Oregon apartment, where he was accused of attempting to strangle her. Bryan’s encounter with the law in La Quinta resulted in him being charged with a felony for DUI and a misdemeanor for “contempt of court.” Following his arrest at 2:36 a.m., Bryan was booked into the John Benoit Detention Center and later released on a $50,000 bail.
