Andy Warhol, an American artist, created Campbell’s Soup Cans (also known as 32 Campbell’s Soup Cans) between November 1961 and March or April 1962. Campbell canned soup is a product of the American firm Campbell Soup Company which produces a variety of processed foods and snacks, but they are known especially for their line of canned soups.

The artwork projects Andy Warhol’s positive view of the modern world which believes that even the banalest things in our everyday life can become art. The aesthetics of the ordinary is celebrated in this work, as opposed to the abstract expressionist, who tried to create superfluous metaphors for modernity, completely ignoring its splendour. 

Throughout three distinct eras of his career, Warhol created a wide range of artworks featuring Campbell’s Soup cans. He also created other pieces employing a variety of images from the business and media worlds.
