Amazon Quiz: Which system of the body controls the senses?
Options:
Circulatory system
Digestive system
Nervous system
Skeletal system
Answer- Nervous system
The brain, spinal cord, and a complex nerve network are all parts of the nervous system. The brain and the body communicate via this system.
All bodily functions are managed by the brain. From the brain, the spinal cord descends via the back. It is made up of strands of nerves that branch out to every organ and area of the body. The brain sends and receives messages via this network of nerves to many regions of the body.
Neurons are very little cells that the nervous system utilises to transmit signals from the brain to the spinal cord and then to the nerves all over the body.
A communication network is built by the collaboration of billions of neurons. The functions of distinct neurons vary. For instance, sensory neurons transfer signals from the skin, nose, ears, tongue, and eyes to the brain. For muscles to move, motor neurons send signals from the brain to the rest of the body.
These connections make up our thinking, learning, movement, and emotion. They manage how our bodies function, regulating things like breathing, digestion, and heart rate.
