Amit Sadh stands up for hairstylist, spot boys and urges producers to pay them

Sadh has recently sent out a post requesting the ‘big people’ to pay their
support staff during the time of crisis. He wrote in a tweet: “I know we
have started to work and from home … but guys … big people … please pay
hair , make-up , spots …( helpers ) they need to start and revive … !! I
will be fighting fr them .. and their wages . ! Pranaam!” He added that he
would fight for their wages.

In an
interview with Mumbai Mirror, Amit said that one of his own hair stylists had
not been paid for one their ventures, “I finally got them the money using my
sources. It’s a major issue that needs to be addressed. My tweet was an
ultimatum to all those who are not paying these guys.”

 “I am
trying to create an eco-system, wherein I will pool in some of my own money,
seek help from industry friends and urge fans to contribute in every way
possible to ensure that no one from the crew is ever without food. There is an
intent to build an organisation eventually. It will take time as these things
don’t happen overnight,” he added.
