Novak Djokovic continued his dominance on ATP rankings. The Serbian is now at the top for 370 weeks. His arch rival, Spain’s Rafael Nadal, in the meanwhile, dropped to World No 5.

Djokovic won the Italian Open this week – his sixth in Rome. He defeated Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-0, 7-6 (5). The title ended his dry run this year. The World No 1 was deported from the Australian Open due to his COVID-19 vaccination status. He then lost in Dubai, Monte-Carlo, Serbia and Madrid before entering the Italian Open.
